Senior Coach
Hi, I’m Steffi, co-founder of Munich Vocal Coaching!
Why “co-founder”?
Since I can no longer teach all students personally, I have built a fantastic team with friendly colleagues. All vocal coaches on our team have both professional expertise and pedagogical training. This ensures that every coach meets our quality standards and will fully support you in achieving your goals.
For over 10 years, I have been working professionally as a singer and vocal coach.
At the beginning of my “career,” I was actually on stage as a drummer. A little later, I decided to fully focus on singing. At BORG (a music-focused high school), I coached small groups in singing and rehearsed complex arrangements with the choir. As a lecturer, I taught beginners and advanced students for many years at the Neue Jazzschool München e.V.
Through my various projects (party band, Brazil combo, music cabaret), I have gained a deep understanding of how diverse music can sound.
My additional training as a “holistic voice coach” allows me to work not only on vocal techniques but also on personal aspects of voice development.
On my website, you’ll find all the information about me as a singer and vocal coach.

After training at the Jazzschool Munich with an additional pedagogical qualification, Jonas is now fully dedicated to music. As a singer and guitarist, he performs nationwide with the Noisepollution Rockrevue and the David Bowie Tribute Band “Heroes.” When it comes to singing, authenticity and credibility are especially important to him, alongside technical aspects. And of course, the joy of music!
The combination of instrument and voice makes the lessons particularly effective and varied. Singer-songwriters, in particular, receive valuable input in lessons with Jonas. Through his many live performances, he also gives helpful tips on how to manage nervousness and excitement.
Look forward to an entertaining lesson with a wow effect!

Ricarda completed training in acting and singing, as well as numerous advanced workshops in the fields of breath and voice therapy, vocal training, acting, and improvisation.
The foundation of her teaching is based on training in EVT (Estill Voice Training), vocal improvisation (Voicestra – USA), functional vocal training, and CVT (Complete Vocal Technique). The focus is always on individual, “concept-flexible” coaching.
Her areas of expertise include breath and voice therapy, vocal training, vocal modes, performance, voice placement, stage presence, acting, and improvisation.
She is a renowned voice actress and singer for film and television, has worked for many years in the studio with international artists, and has toured as a singer and comedian in Germany, Europe, and Asia.
Since 1991, she has worked as a live and studio singer and has over 30 years of experience in national and international projects, including for Dionne Warwick, Gloria Gaynor, The Temptations, Joe Cocker, and Jimmy Somerville.
As a student, you will benefit from her experience and receive valuable tips for working with your voice. One thing that is especially important to Ricarda is the connection between body and mind, and she believes that the psyche is the key to true satisfaction.

For example, are you interested in eventually joining a band or a choir, but still feel a bit unsure? Do you want to learn various breathing, singing, and speaking techniques that will also support you in your everyday life as a speaker, teacher, or educator? Or do you simply want to try out a new hobby just for yourself? – PERFECT! Let’s get started!
Singing and surrendering to the emotions that arise from it is always something very personal and intimate. That’s why I assure you that in my lessons, you will always have the time you need to open up vocally and immerse yourself in the lyrics and songs.
I will do my best to fully support you in this regard! We will discuss your goals and musical preferences in detail and create a plan on how we can best achieve them. I love accompanying people on their vocal journey, and what excites me the most is seeing progress and sharing successes!
Curious? Then simply book a free trial lesson with me. In these 45 minutes, we can get to know each other, gently ease into the art of singing with some simple exercises, and discuss further organizational details. But most importantly, we’ll vibe together ;-)

Beka came to Germany at the age of 24 from Georgia to study jazz singing at the university. In 2017, he toured Germany, Italy, France, and the USA with the Georgian choir “Adilei.” In 2019, he participated in the New York Voices Vocal Camp in Markoberdorf and was named a scholarship winner. He composed and arranged music for the Schauspielhaus in Bochum.
The cheerful Georgian impresses his students with his open and warm personality. His singing lessons are fully focused on the needs of the students. It is important to him to work musically and stylistically. Each student has their own unique singing style. Beka will help you combine songs with your style in a friendly and approachable way!
Beka also plays guitar and can help you connect instrument and voice.

I am so excited that you are interested in turning your attention to your voice. I am convinced that every person has the potential to sing. As an intuitive organ of vibration and perception, the voice expresses our character, our moods, our feelings, and our thoughts – in short, our soul. Therefore, it is especially important to me in my lessons to approach each person individually and meet them where they are with patience, empathy, and a touch of humor. Whether you were told as a child that you can’t sing, struggle with hitting or holding notes, or finding harmonies, or whether you already have experience and want to reach the next level and dive deep into the world of voice.
I offer a safe space where you can freely express yourself. You will learn to trust your body’s wisdom and sing with sustainable vocal technique and your whole body, unlocking your personal vocal power. Together, we will train your ear, emotional expression, (vocal) presence, and self-esteem while singing. I see myself as a guide, motivator, and encourager. It brings me the greatest joy to see people grow in their freedom of expression and vitality and to watch them get to know and love their voice.
Stephanie completed her vocal training at the Robin D. Vocal Academy in 2016 in the Pop/Rock field with distinction and has since worked as a live and studio singer in Germany, Europe, and Asia in various projects (party band, soul, solo singing, studio vocals, meditative music, her own songwriting, and more).
She continuously expands her knowledge with great passion and curiosity, studying with renowned teachers and attending seminars on topics such as body wisdom and sound, vocal training, rhythm and percussion, vocal improvisation, and personal development, as she knows the impact that the interaction of body, mind, and soul has on the voice.

The young Chilean singer Isabel Casas has been living in Munich for seven years and studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. As a singer, she has worked with many well-known musicians such as Titzian Jost and Matthias Preißinger. Thanks to her voice and charisma, she has secured a prominent place in the Munich jazz scene.
She studied at the “Escuela Moderna de Musica” in Santiago, worked as a background singer for various Chilean TV shows and artists, including for “Faith No More,” soul bands, Latin orchestras, and then turned her focus to jazz, Bossa Nova, and funk.
Vocal students can look forward to a friendly and humorous vocal coach in Isabel. Her singing lessons are shaped by her years of experience as a singer and her empathetic nature.
Singing is a very personal and intimate matter. That’s why Isabel, with her relaxed personality, helps students free themselves from negative thoughts. This allows for important exercises to be performed effectively, and the voice can unfold freely.
The stage is her second home. Isabel also provides valuable tips for live performances in her lessons, ensuring that every performance becomes a highlight.

This is what Kerstin says about herself: As a graduated musical performer from the August Everding Theater Academy, my primary focus is of course musical theater. I teach using a Speech Level Singing Technique and aim to help you find your personal, individual sound that is closest to your speaking voice.
Of course, a bit of classical technique always helps in getting to know your voice better, which I incorporate into the lessons. I can show you how to find your healthy belt voice and teach you to sing effortlessly.
Since my studies, I have performed on many musical stages, had a 4-year stint with an acoustic jazz band (so I also have band experience), and through my voiceover work for over 10 years, I have often given my spoken characters a singing voice. The microphone technique in the studio is different from the stage, and that’s why, through my years of experience, I can pass on a lot of knowledge about studio singing as well.
Singing should feel easy and natural! I won’t show you everything you still need to learn, but instead, I’ll show you how to eliminate everything that holds you back when you sing.

Stefan has been working as a professional musician and teacher in Munich since 2015. He is a state-certified choir and ensemble director with an additional pedagogical qualification and is active in various fields. In addition to vocal and instrumental lessons in piano and guitar, he has been leading a choir since early 2018 and teaches music theory and ear training. In addition to public teaching, he works at a secondary school as a singing, guitar, and band workshop teacher.

Tabea connects with others through empathy and enthusiasm. Her necessary expertise is evidenced by her graduation with honors from the Neue Jazzschool München e.V. She has also attended several continuing education courses from Estill Voice (Level 1, Level 2, Belting, Articulation) and completed the Estill Figure Proficiency preparation year in 2021. Since 2020, she has been studying jazz singing at HMT Munich and, since completing her training as a holistic voice therapist in 2022, has also been working in voice therapy.
Thanks to her additional pedagogical qualification, she can approach each of her students individually and with appreciation, completely independent of their prior knowledge.
Like all the vocal coaches on the team, Tabea also works with the approach of starting from the speaking voice, thereby promoting singing from a holistic perspective.
She not only works as a singing and piano teacher but also leads choirs and is a freelance collaborator at public schools with a focus on special education. Additionally, she pursues her passion for music through her bands, The Major Moon Band, The Tensions (an a-cappella band), and a piano and vocal duo with her musician colleague Sophie Sperber.

Selina developed a passion for music at a very young age and has been singing since she can remember.
Initially, she attended a music-focused high school, where she discovered her love for choral singing, and then completed training as a state-certified choir and ensemble director at the Vocational School for Pop, Rock & Jazz. This turned her hobby into her profession, which she pursues with all her heart.
She also has an additional pedagogical qualification, through which she teaches the joy and fun of singing, as well as the associated technique for beginners and advanced students. It is important to her that the student feels comfortable and that their wishes are taken into account.
In addition, she has an a cappella/drums project called JAEXS with some colleagues from her vocational school years and an acoustic duo, with which she passionately enjoys her singing career on stage.

In singing, our thoughts, emotions, and feelings are reflected. For this reason, singing is, for me, a personal and individual matter. Anyone who wants to learn to sing needs lessons tailored to them, that match their needs and personality.
The foundation for healthy singing is always, for everyone, the correct breathing, because as singers, we are essentially a “breathing instrument.” Therefore, singing lessons with Scherhezada also include intensive work on and with breathing, often with the support of weights, exercise balls, and other tools.
Her students experience that this is the fastest, most efficient, and above all, healthiest way to achieve a stable sound. Children, teenagers, and adults all enjoy the rapid progress they make with her as a vocal teacher. Despite her classical training, she also regularly performs in the pop genre in front of the microphone.
Scherhezada is able to convey to her students the same joy she herself experiences while singing!

Those who take singing lessons with Sarah benefit in two ways: She is not only a singer (Bachelor’s degree from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München) but also a trained flutist in the jazz field (Neue Jazzschool e.V.). This allows her to better view the voice as a true instrument, one that can produce not only beautiful tones but also emotions.
Her absolute pitch and skills on the flute also make Sarah a competent contact for scat singing. As part of the award winners’ concert for the “Kurt Maaß Jazz Award,” she performed with the “Vocal Show” alongside US singer, songwriter, and producer Patti Austin. Creative experiments with a loop station are just as much a part of her lessons as good humor and positive energy.
Her students enjoy the relaxed singing lessons. With her easygoing nature, Sarah creates a pleasant atmosphere, allowing you to effectively absorb valuable tips and insights about singing.

As a trained singer with experience in pop, classical, and rock music, Amy teaches both beginners and professionals. In addition to her work as a singer in a rock band, she has worked as a music therapist with children and adolescents. This experience has helped her better address stress and emotional challenges in her lessons. Amy passes these insights on to her students in their singing lessons.
She specializes in holistic vocal coaching. Through this unique approach, she supports her students not only vocally but also helps to boost their self-esteem.
In addition to her work as a singer and vocal teacher, she also plays the church organ and regularly accompanies masses in Poland and Germany.
Her students at Munich Vocal Coaching appreciate the high-quality lessons that inspire them in all areas.
Vocal Coach, Voice Therapist
“Every voice is connected to a whole person,” that’s my motto. Although – or precisely because – I often play the “show-off” on stage, I know how important it is to take good care of oneself and one’s voice. As a voice therapist, I can raise my students’ awareness of voice-influencing factors and help them reduce anxiety and stage fright.
My lessons are “from practice, for practice.” With over 20 years of stage experience as a soloist and singer in various cover and party bands, often performing for 10+ hours at a time, it’s crucial for my own singing to preserve my voice and energy reserves while still sounding like a “star.” The long-standing experience and corresponding vocal technique, which, like all the coaches on the team, focuses on the speaking voice, is something I want to pass on to my students.
However, with me, you’ll not only learn to understand your instrument – the voice – and an economical singing technique. My concept also addresses voice-influencing issues like stage fright and anxiety. For this reason, I regularly integrate mental training into the lessons and complement it with tools from voice therapy. Above all, though, fun, joy, and plenty of humor are always at the core of my teaching.
I myself was trained in classical singing for over 10 years. Additionally, I attended various workshops in the pop/rock field, including with Cheryl Porter. I also completed basic training in the “Singing Without Fear” method with musical singer Fawn Arnold and am currently enrolled in a two-year certification course for vocal coaches in that method. I also have a certification as a holistic voice therapist from the Stimmschule Ammersee.
Currently, I am the lead singer of the event band “Hatphones,” work as a substitute singer for various bands throughout Bavaria, and am available as a soloist for weddings, baptisms, funerals, celebrations, etc.
Vocal Coach
My goal is to teach healthy singing and breathing techniques with a lot of fun and joy. I also aim to promote the individuality and volume of each voice. Beginners, aspiring professionals, as well as hobby singers are all warmly welcome. Of course, I will also support you if you, as an advanced singer, want to step into live performance.
Through years of experience, I also teach microphone technique, stage presence, and aspects of live performance. This will help you make your mark in the music business.
For over 30 years, I have worked as a singer in the event industry and have performed in various live ensembles. To pass on my knowledge, I completed my training at the Federal Academy in Trossingen. I successfully graduated from the state-recognized exams there with excellent results.
